GammaS8 is an installation specific product, housing a single 8in. long excursion transducer configured in a Band-pass enclosure design.
The simple but efficient Band-pass design increases the Low frequency response extending its reproduction down to 45 Hz (40 Hz @ -10dB).
It also allows a greater control over cone motion, reducing the total harmonic distortion, for an accurate and extremely controlled bass response not comparable with traditional direct radiating subwoofers.
The bass-punch is unrivaled, facing systems equipped with the same transducer dimension.
GammaS8 can be used stand alone, stacked or individually flown thanks to a dedicated bracket.
A M20 built-in threaded insert adapter, on the top panel, allows all Gamma speakers to be pole mounted.
Compact dimensions and light weight make easier and faster all deployments.
This system is particularly suited for all small-to-medium sized venues, mostly when floor stacking configurations are not allowed and ceilings are not so high.
GammaS8 is the ideal companion of the smaller Gamma Series extended range speakers (Gamma5, Gamma6), remarkably boosting their LF extension.
Significant construction criteria, combined with the latest technologies and innovative materials, ensure a great reliability over time.
GammaS8 cabinet is constructed from marine Birch-ply and has an impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish.
A color range (RAL Architectural program) makes all Gamma speakers, for an easy integration, most appropriate for each installation depending on the architectural and furniture requirements.
