VH
F15EV is a three way large format point source system, incredibly
compact for its output performance in a single wide-bandwidth
fully horn loaded enclosure.
This special design increases the acoustic output of the low
frequency section, as well as the MF and HF units.
The system houses 1 x 15in. (380mm) driver with hybrid horn/reflex
loading techniques, 2 x 6.5in. (165mm) cone-paper drivers
on a midrange horn which covers the frequency range from 350
Hz to 1.6 kHz, and 1 x 2in. (50mm) exit HF compression driver
mounted on 60deg. V x 40deg. V constant directivity horn,
operating from 1.6 kHz upwards.
Each section features innovative horn-loading techniques and
refinements which raise the acoustic performance of the VH
F15EV to superior level in terms of output and smooth 60deg.
horizontal coverage patterns of the MF and HF horns.
The MF and HF horns design offer the advantages of both greater
output and superior horizontal directivity pattern control
which doesn't vary significantly the frequency response.
The transducers complement has been engineered for exemplary
performances each section.
VH F15EV is configured in a vertically formatted, trapezoidal
ply-birch cabinet and fitted with a proprietary rigging system
to facilitate vertical array configurations.
A dedicated flybar-kit allows the building of large scale
clusters made of multiple vertical arrays. Different splayed
angles allow the perfect acoustic coupling optimizing the
horizontal coverage.
A complete range of rigging accessories make easier and faster
all deployments such as ceiling-mounted or stacked configurations
offering multiple set-up options and various orientations.
Significant construction criteria, combined with the latest
technologies and innovative materials, ensure a great reliability
over time.
VH F15EV cabinet is constructed from Birch-ply and has an
impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection)
finish.
The system can be as well matched with all the most challenging
Loud Professional Formula and VH subwoofer systems, boosting
its LF extension.
