Thanks to the Bass-reflex differentially flared design, the optimized vented port reduces turbulence and port noise at high levels, while also increasing LF system efficiency and extending its frequency response down to 35Hz.
Designed for ground stacked configurations it can be positioned in a cardioid subwoofer array with one cabinet physically facing backwards and processed by a dedicated amplifier channel.
It allows to achieves a remarkable benefit controlling the lower frequencies response and significantly reducing the energy radiating towards to the rear.
Thanks to the special system efficiency, VH Sub118R is capable of delivering a high standard SPL output still maintaining a great frequency response linearity.
